Overview
GigCommand believes your organization should remain in control of its information.
This policy explains how account and organization deletion requests are handled and what happens to your information when a deletion request is received.
Individual Accounts
If you no longer wish to use GigCommand, you may request deletion of your personal account.
Authenticated users can initiate personal account deletion from within GigCommand by going to Settings > Delete Account and completing the confirmation step.
Before deleting an account, GigCommand verifies the signed-in account session and requires an intentional confirmation step to help protect your information from unauthorized deletion requests.
If your account is the recorded owner of an organization, you must first transfer ownership to another active organization member before deleting your personal account. Personal account deletion does not automatically delete an organization or its shared operational records.
Organizations
Organizations may request permanent deletion of their GigCommand organization.
At this time, organization deletion requests should be submitted through GigCommand Support.
Future versions of GigCommand are expected to allow an Organization Owner to permanently delete an organization directly from within the application after completing additional verification steps.
What Happens When an Organization Is Deleted
When an organization is permanently deleted, we will make reasonable efforts to remove the organization's information from our active systems.
This may include information such as:
- Organization information
- Shows
- Venues
- Promoters
- Merchandise and inventory
- Sales
- Financial records
- Travel plans
- CRM records
- Fan information
- Crew assignments
- Notes
- Uploaded files
Certain information may be retained when required to:
- Comply with applicable laws
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our agreements
- Protect the security and integrity of the platform
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes for a reasonable period
Processing Time
Deletion requests are typically processed within a reasonable period after identity and ownership have been verified.
Processing time may vary depending on the complexity of the request and any legal obligations requiring temporary data retention.
Organization Self-Service Deletion
GigCommand now supports self-service personal account deletion. Organization deletion remains a separate organization-owner operation and is not automatically performed when an individual deletes their personal account.
Future versions of GigCommand may add owner-controlled organization deletion directly within the application after additional ownership verification and confirmation steps.
